As a major goal is reached, or spiritually, you move through another incitation or higher level of consciousness, we can forecast what is likely to happen next in the realm of physical reality.

This has been a year of momentous change, both in the structures of your physical world and the expansion of your spiritual awareness. Boundaries of countries and nations are changing; ethnic groups are changing places, either by choice or by force; many dear souls are choosing to transcend, and believe us when we say, they are moving on to a much better place and conditions. Bless them in their choice for their Spirit self certainly knows what is best for them. Humanity is becoming more and more restless for nothing is as it was, and what could be counted on before is no longer stable or available. The weather patterns are so erratic that droughts shrivel crops and shrink water resources in many areas, while great storms send deluges of water to others, creating untold misery and loss of resources.

Patterns and boundaries of every kind are changing and shifting, mostly brought about by the changing patterns of human consciousness. As the higher frequencies anchor firmly in your world, both in your consciousness and that of your Mother Earth, great pressures are building. These frequencies are much finer, more subtle, but they are also much stronger, you see? Just as darkness must give way to Light, so must the lower vibratory energy waves give way to the higher, more refined frequencies.

Just as you are fragments of a vast Oversoul which is, in turn, an individualized portion of a much greater Being of Light, cach created to manifest and experience, thereby gaining wisdom and destined to eventually be reintegrated back into the magnificence of the All That Is; so have you created fragments of yourself through your own experiments with the energies of creation. Through trial and error, while steeped in the third dimensional density, you have fragmented your Soul-self, building extensions of yourself which you may wish to call entities, who are attached to you via threads of energy and reside in either higher or lower dimensions, depending on the frequencies of the energy you have fed them. This is partially what is meant when we say you have many parallel selves or lives on parallel dimensions.

Now, you are being told that all is being brought together, reconnected, rejoined into itself on the way back to the more refined levels of energy or creation. Therefore these parts of yourself, whether harmonious or not, are being brought into your experience, sometimes creating great joy and new awareness, but most often creating discomfort and imbalance. We have heard many of you lament, “Why must it be so difficult to be a Lightworker? We are trying so hard, why must there be so many challenges and obstacles put in our path?”

We tell you this, first of all, since time as you know it is speeding up so much, what would normally take lifetimes is happening in days and months. Since you are being reunited with the myriad parts of yourself, whether that part is steeped in the belief of lack and poverty; unworthiness or lack of love, thereby, failing to draw to you worthwhile or loving relationships; denial of creative abilities; or in being powerless and at the mercy of others; whether it is belief of violence and the battle with the dark forces; or in ill health and the inevitability of the aging process and ultimate death; regardless, you are being brought face to face with all the facets of your Soul-self.

Science, mysticism, and spirituality are not disjointed areas of knowledge, they are unified. Modern physicists have written books in the similarities between advanced quantum theory and the ancient writings from India. Mysticism can be known as a more integrated form of spirituality. And, of course, spirituality deals with the connection between God and man.

Science deals with the inter-workings of the systems of nature and how they create an merged whole of beauty, economy, and sustainability. If you study mystical writings of ancient sages, you’ll find innumerable references to the simpleness and spirituality of the natural world. It was William Blake who said: “To see a World in a Grain of Sand, And a heaven in a Wild Flower, Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand, And Eternity in an hour.”

The study today of modern books and classics will yield you much wiseness and elucidation. Some people are not quenched with just faith; they need logic, proof, and living examples of the higher spiritual laws that rule our existence. It can be said that the macrocosm that gave us such a magnificent brain intended us to use it to explore the vast wonders of the existence.

The times that we are living in are fantastic. Never before in history has history been made so rapidly. Our world is in crisis, and, no matter where you look, change is afoot. Negativity has had every chance to succeed, yet humanity goes patiently forward suffering every kind of distraction through the softening effects of luxury, the degenerating effects of poverty, the darkness of ignorance, poor leadership, greedy oppression, cruel fanatics and war. This is when science, spirituality and mysticism have to combine!

Yet humanity still goes and struggles through it all, gaining ground steadily and imperceptibly. Slowly our standards are shifting towards Brotherhood as we free ourselves from the rut of complacency. Many are quietly busy in humanitarian efforts, while many others suffer, fight and die for things which they believe are right and good. Between these two - the fighters and the servers - the great unheeding masses strive blindly for their own existence, comfort and amusement. Yet they are also being roused by the crescendo of the times as they strike, march and revolt all around the world. What does this all mean? Why is life racing by in a roar, and why does our progress appear to be a stampede?

Science has found a pattern in nature…from the Solar System to the cell…that just prior to its moving to a higher order, there is a lot of chaos and discordant vibration which moves it along the way. And so, our world and all of its kingdoms are locked into an uncomfortable vibration as we approach our next step: Initiation. Initiation is a crisis point for an individual, a group, a nation, a planet, a solar system, a galaxy as a leap is taken into the next higher order. It is an expansion of consciousness whereby the one initiated is divinely stimulated to see a portion of the Divine Plan, and the part that is to be played in the scheme of things. It is an acknowledgment or graduation ceremony certifying that the initiate has mastered a certain phase of growth.

Humanity as a whole has evolved through the slow working out of Karma from life to life. This is the broad way that most follow. Yet there are those who choose to evolve more quickly, and so they enter the narrow way of initiation whereby the disciple’s progress is speeded up to advance not only individually, but also to advance the race. In doing so, the tempo of life is accelerated. We must pack into one or two lives the experiences and achievements which might have taken dozens of lives to work through. And our accumulated Karma, which would have been played out over long intervals, now settles like a huge heap on our shoulders. Our whole planet is moving rapidly toward it’s next step. Daily we witness the chaos, the crises, the discordant vibrations all around us as we are being precipitated into a higher order.

The Ageless Wisdom teaches that initiation cannot be taken until a predominance of cells in the body have been raised to a higher vibration through purification and transmutation. Thus, our Mother, the Earth, cannot take initiation until a predominance of humanity are stepped up to soul levels. As Earth strives for initiation, it stirs up the good and the bad throughout its whole being, influencing all life inhabiting her form. As its Karma is speeded up, all the good and evil of humanity seems to rush to the surface sometimes producing catastrophic results. But it is through this very suffering that we are being pushed towards a mass initiation: To birth the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth.

It is well known that the mind and emotions rule the body. Anger, negativity, envy, greed, bigotry, cruelty, violence and abuse cause poisons to form which erupt as disease. So it is with the planet on a larger scale. Spirituality will help us control our thoughts. Combined negative thinking, feeling and acting on the part of humanity breed poisons in the planetary body which manifest as epidemics, volcanic eruptions, earth quakes, violent storms and other destructive disturbances…which cause suffering on a mass scale. There is a point to all suffering. It is a wake up call, a signal to change our direction, put our collective house in order, reevaluate and move into a higher order.

You could leave life right now. Let that (thought) determine what you do and say and think. If GOD exists, then to abandon human beings (to die) is not frightening; the CREATOR would never subject you to harm.  What would be the point of living in a world without Providence ? But HE exists, and cares what happens to us, and everything a person needs to avoid real harm they have placed within him (or her). If there were anything harmful on the other side of death, HE would have made sure the ability to avoid it was within you. If it doesn’t harm your character, how can it harm your life? Nature would not have overlooked such dangers through failing to recognize them, or because it saw them but was powerless to prevent or correct them. Nor would it ever, through inability or incompetence, make such a mistake as to let good and bad things happen indiscriminately to good and bad (people) alike. But death and life, success and failure, pain and pleasure, wealth and poverty, all these happen to good and bad (people) alike, and they are neither noble nor shameful ? and hence neither good nor bad?

Can you guess who wrote that? It wasn’t Dr. Phil. Not Wayne Dyer. Certainly not Karl Rove.

Written sometime between 170 and 180 A.D., that excerpt comes from a little book called Meditations by Marcus Aurelius. Yes, Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius. The very same Emperor Marcus Aurelius depicted by actor Richard Harris in the 2000 film ? Gladiator? directed by Ridley Scott, and starring Russell Crowe.

The Greek philosopher Plato once wrote “States will never be happy until rulers become philosophers or philosophers become rulers“. Marcus Aurelius, it seems, dedicated himself to living up to the ideal of the philosopher-king. Oh, to have such dedication in our present-day rulers!

In Mediations, Marcus Aurelius shares his insights, not just about government and politics,  but also of personal integrity, leading a purposeful life, and spiritual well-being. His insights are keenly applicable to our present day existence. Meditations is an unexpectedly good read.

Meditations is a small book, only about 170 pages. The edition we’re reading, translated by Gregory Hays, was published in 2002 by the Modern Library.

We like that Dr. Joseph Mercola has the courage to challenge the crass commercialism that so prevalent in contemporary, mainstream health care. Through his web site and associated e-newsletter, Dr. Mercola blows the whistle on countless healthcare fallacies and offers natural wellness alternatives. Perhaps it’s just our taste in sales tactics, but we wish Dr. Mercola wasn’t so blatant in selling his own stuff while he’s pointing out the flaws in mainstream health care.

Dr. Mercola made a video which is a little, animated video that pokes fun at the faulty assumptions upon which much of contemporary, conventional health care is based. The video is called “The Town of Allopath” and it aims right at the big pharmaceuticals who sells us magic pills that treat the symptoms, but not the causes, of health problems. The video was clever, relevant and professional. It was worth 7 minutes of your time. At the end of the video, Dr. Mercola asks you to sign up for his newsletter and forward the video to your friends.

Another Reason to Avoid Drinking Soda

A few months ago, there was a story about concerns with aspartame: a sweetener commonly used in diet soda. Never have we received so much feedback to one of our stories.

Here’s a response from a registered nurse who became a celtic spiritualist, that gives another reason to avoid drinking soda:

I just wanted to share that I have also gotten away from drinking caffeinated soda. I would always have one with lunch everyday. Then I discovered something while listening to a speech by a dietician. Our bodies have a natural balance between calcium and phosphorous: 3 units of calcium for every one unit of phosphorous. Many sodas ? diet or otherwise ? contain phosphorous in the form of phosphoric acid. However much phosphoric acid is in the soda we drink, our bodies need 3 times as much calcium to restore a healthy balance. If we don?t get that calcium from our diets, our bodies take it from our bones. Just one more factor leading to osteoporosis. Most people, women in particular, don?t get enough calcium the way it is. Women up to age 50 should have 1000 mg a day. I am not a milk drinker or a fan of yogurt, so I’ m sure my bones are not very healthy. Now, instead of a soda at lunch, I take a calcium supplement!

What Is Reiki?

Reiki is a complimentary healing modality of Japanese origin. It is a non-invasive, hands-on technique, based on the concept that an unseen Life Force (Ki, pronounced chee) vibrates through us and is what causes us to be alive. How You Can Learn Reiki ?

Reiki classes consist of what is referred to as attunements. One analogy is to think of the Reiki healing rays as if they are radio waves. We may not physically see them, but we know they are there because we can align vibrationally (by tuning our dial) with these energies. When you have received an attunement, you are connected to the proper frequency of energy vibration in order to become a conduit for the Reiki rays of healing energy.

Reiki is taught in three levels, each of which has a different emphasis. The classes, also referred to as the attunement, last between three and five hours, depending on which level we are working on and group dynamics.

In Reiki Level I, students learn to use the Reiki Healing Energy System for their own well-being and/or the healing benefit of others, including animals. A Reiki I attunement opens the student to receive the powerful, yet gentle healing energy which promotes a healthier and more balanced mind, body and spirit. Students learn energy body fundamentals and receive hands-on experience and training, a class manual, a Certificate of Completion and one of my own Reiki-infused Chakra Candles.

In Reiki Level II, students move on to receiving an even greater level of Reiki. With each successive attunement, the power of the Reiki energy is increased exponentially. Students learn the first three of the five traditional Usui Reiki symbols and learn how to integrate them into their use of Reiki. You gain access to the energies of Reiki distance healing and learn how to transmit it. Students again receive a class manual, a Certificate of Completion and a Reiki-infused Chakra Candle.

In Reiki Level III, or the Reiki Master Teacher Level, you receive the most powerful level of Reiki energy.

In some Reiki training environments, the Reiki Master Level and Reiki Master Teacher are broken into two different classes. My personal belief and experience is that since a person receiving the Reiki Master Practitioner attunement is indeed qualified to pass attunements, I incorporate teaching that process with my Reiki Master class. The class is done in two parts so that students have time to assimilate the process and can practice before the second part of the class.

Belief in angels is nearly universal. Christians, Jews, Hindus and Muslims all believe in angels. Most spiritual and “new age” beliefs acknowledge angels. Though different, these philosophies share the belief in these heavenly messengers.

Angel Duties

Angels have human qualities and human roles. Hebrews 2:7,16 describes them as having will and understanding, and being capable of disobeying. Yet they almost never do. With the rare exception of fallen angels, an angel’s existence is dedicated to spreading love, joy and celebration. They are heavenly beings made to serve God through helping man. The Gospel of Mark describes angels as “ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation.” In other words, their goal is to bring us closer to God and the love, faith and joy that is synonymous with the divine.

Different religious and spiritual traditions assign angels different roles. In Christianity and Hinduism they are messengers between God and man. This is the most common definition, according to JC Cooper’s An Illustrated Encyclopedia of Traditional Symbols (1978, Thames and Hudson Ltd). In Islamic symbolism angels surround Allah’s throne, and the Islamic holy text The Koran writes that each person has two angels assigned to them.

Jewish tradition connects angels with astrology. In the Jewish mystical book the Kabbalah, a presiding angel is assigned to each of the seven worlds. Each angel has different qualities, and you may call on them when you need these qualities.

1. El: Represents the realm of Jupiter. El represents strength, power and light.
2. Elohi: Represents the realm of Mars. Elohi bestows strength in times of war and affliction.
3. Tsebaoth: Represents the realm of the Sun and gives the Sun motion, brightness and heat.
4. Elion: Represents the realm of Mercury. Elion offers goodness, motion and intellect.
5. Adonai: Represents the realm of Venus. Adonai’s qualities are majesty, mastery and ownership.
6. Shaddqi: Represents the sphere of the Moon. Offers change, especially increases and decreases.

7. Elohim: Represents Earth: Gives knowledge, understanding and wisdom.

Often times it is asked what will be the best spirituality technique for extroverts. Sargent describes an angel hierarchy where Archangels are greater angels and Guardian Angels are lesser angels. Greater angels do the work of God and are given enormous power. So, to all those who think they are extroverts, start with a relationship with your angels. Archangels, as a rule, don’t appear to humans. There are exceptions, like when Gabriel announced the birth of Jesus. Mostly though, only Guardian Angels are concerned with our daily matters. “When I refer to Guardian Angels,” says Sargent. ” I mean the divine spirits who help and protect each of us from the moment of birth until the day we leave this Earth. ”

One of the first steps to communicating with your Guardian Angel, or any angel, is a belief in the unseen. “The first step in preparing yourself to meet your Guardian Angel is to change your expectations—change what you think you will experience,” explains Sargent. “Cultivate a belief that your angel exists and that you will meet it if you simply shift your perceptions. When you do, you’ll be halfway down the path to connecting with your Guardian Angel. ”

Meditation is also an effective way to open ourselves to angels. In Your Guardian Angel and You, Sargent recommends that we start by focusing on our breath as we let our thoughts float by without attachment. Next visualize yourself surrounded by white light and then breathe it in. After a few minutes of this say to yourself on each inhale “Guardian Angel, come to me” and on exhale repeat “With love and will, so may it be.” These affirmations are done for at least 5 minutes. Sargent says that if done once daily, results will be seen within a week.

Virtue also recommends meditation as a tool for connecting with angels. In Angel Therapy, she writes: “In your meditations, ask the angels to give you a clear sign in answer to your prayers.” The sign we receive, she states, will be unmistakable even if it isn’t tangible. It may be a dream, a vision or intuition.

Although meditation is a wonderful way to usher in angels, it isn’t the only way. Not by far. “You can communicate with angels in a variety of ways, including automatic writing, dreamwork, oracle cards, and intuitional or psychic communication,” writes Virtue in Angel Therapy. “It’s important to choose a communication style to which you are naturally drawn.”

Psychologists sometimes speak of the ‘shadow side within’ as a metaphor for the part of us responsible for many of our difficult and irrational behaviors and thought patterns. However ‘the shadow side’ is not our enemy to be embattled against. It doesn’t stand equal and opposite to our supposed ‘good side.’ Exactly what is the shadow side is a mystery.

It often causes us to act or think in ways we instantaneously regret, such as an angry outburst when we know better. When we say something unintentional yet telling; a ‘Freudian slip’ it indicates there is someone under the hood besides just our voluntary mind.

We have behaviors and thought patterns that we know are irrational, such as phobias or obsessions that we haven’t conquered. Sometimes the harder one tries to suppress a “weirdness,” the more warped one becomes. Those who can accept themselves with ‘defects’ are better off.

The shadow side can also put up a barrier to progress. It won’t let us evolve unless we fight for it. This serves to filter out the fainthearted.

There is another level to all this. If you are one who believes that you on some level create your external reality, then perhaps in some way we have chosen our obstacles and hardships in life. If you have experienced a succession of difficulties, they may have been created by some other part of you as a part of the plan. If you have experienced a run of bad luck, it might be because you are ready for that as a part of the test.

Life can seem horribly unfair and random in the events it throws at us. Therefore, if in some deep part of our subconscious we created this, it bespeaks of how very strong we may be and of how were not in it for a “free ride.” If someone has a life of repeated setbacks as opposed to repeated successes, it could show them to be more the master of the game compared to the more fortunate one, from the point of view of spirit. You can be judged in part by what you are up against, regardless of how it got created. If you are able to deal with big problems, you are a better person for it.

When you are deceased and there is a historian dredging up your life history, you will not be judged better if you owned a Mercedes instead of a Toyota. You will not be rated on what you currently value as “making it.” You will in part be judged on the hardships you faced and how bravely you faced them, and on how ethically you conducted yourself. So there is no need to envy those with better luck.

The real enemy is our own expectation that things should be easy or that success should be handed to us without real effort.
